How to Print and Cut Printables from Not Crazy Nana

Here are your instructions on how to print and cut Printables from Not Crazy Nana.

Printables are available in Etsy at the Not Crazy Nana shop. If you haven’t taken a peak yet, you can either go straight to Etsy or click my shop link.

Please Note:

  • Colors may vary on different printers.

How to Download Your Files

Your printables are in zip files.

They may vary per product as some products
are not aimed at cutting machines.

Files may be in more than one directory per file type due to size.

  • PDF
  • JPG
  • PNG

You can download and unzip any or all of these files

How to Print Your Files

PDF and JPG files are for printing via your printer. Unzip the file then:

  • Set your printer to actual size
  • Do not scale. If you keep ratio correct, in some cases, all will look
    fine
  • Print borderless

You can then cut your stickers with scissors or a craft knife.

The PNG files work well for cutting machines like Silhoutte or Cricut. Those instructions in the following pages.

Cut with Silhouette

  • Unzip and save all of the PNG files that you want.
  • After opening Silhouette Studio, open the PNG file of your choice by going to “File” then “Open”.
  • Lock the dimensions and set width of the image to 6.75 inches.
  • Center the image and turn on the Registration Marks.
  • Print your page through Silhouette Studio.
  • Place your printed page on a cutting mat and feed into your machine.
  • Choose the paper that you decided to use and adjust the blade, thickness, and speed to match your paper. If you have not used that particular paper before, you may need some testing to get the level of cutting correct.
  • Click “Send to Silhouette”.

Cut with Cricut

  • Unzip and save all of the PNG files that you want.
  • In Cricut Design Space, create a “New Project”.
  • Click Upload and choose “Upload Image”.
  • Select the PNG file that you want to print and cut.
  • Click “Complex”, then “Continue”. Click “Continue” again.
  • Select “Save as Print Then Cut Image” and click “Save”.
  • Select the image you have just uploaded and click “Add to Canvas”.
  • Lock the dimensions and set width of the image to 6.75 inches. If the height of the image is still slightly above 9.25, then update that next.
  • Connect your Cricut machine and click “Make It” at the top right of the screen. Then click “Continue”.
  • Click “Send to Printer”, choose your Printer. You may need to experiment with bleed or no bleed according to your machine.
  • Set Base Material to the setting that works best with your paper. This does change according to how your machine cuts different paper. If you switch papers, you may need to try new settings.
  • Place your printed sheet on your cutting mat and click the button on your Cricut machine to start cutting.
